So you've reached our poetry page. One of the more popular sections at A Darker Vision, this poetry page gets updated on a regular basis; so if you like what you read, subscribe to our RSS feed, or add us to your my.yahoo page if you have one.
Unlike many free poetry sites you run across on the Internet, we don't focus on any one subject in poetry. Don't let our name fool you into thinking we're all doom and gloom, here you will find many different types of poem, from the happy to the depressed, the serious to the light hearted. We have short poems, and long; easy reading as well as ones you may need to read more than twice.
Amongst all these poetry types, we're sure you'll find something you like. So read some of our latest poems from the box to the right and then dig a little deeper into our archives.
Now if you look at the title it says this poetry is free, and we mean it. You may notice the little creative commons icon at the bottom of the page with the text 'some rights reserved'. What that basically means is that you can copy and distribute/perform this work for free, as long as you give us credit (in the form of a link to this site please). There are more details to it than just that, but you can read up on those easily by clicking the icon.
